Marine Safari

Between the deep waters of the channel that separates La Ventana from Cerralvo Island—also known as Jacques Cousteau Island—lies a marine corridor teeming with life. This strait connects the Gulf of California with the Pacific Ocean and is home to spectacular biodiversity, thanks to its nutrient-rich waters driven by local ocean currents.

Departing from Playa Central early in the morning, guided by curiosity and admiration, we will embark on a journey of approximately six hours where we can observe impressive marine species in their natural habitat, such as playful dolphins, sea turtles, giant manta rays, and schools of colorful fish. During certain seasons, you might even spot whales or majestic sharks on their migratory route. If nature permits, we could have an encounter with the resident orca families in the area.

We don’t force encounters. Here, everything happens when the sea decides. And that’s what makes this safari an unforgettable experience: each outing is different, and every moment is a gift.

More than just a tour, this is an invitation to observe with humility, to learn from wonder, and to be touched by the vastness of the sea and its biodiversity.
